Houston Conference Room System

This business located in Pearland, Texas contacted us to revamp their conference room system. They had difficulty using their existing system and shared a laptop with a webcam to communicate with clients and their corporate office.

The goal was to simplify their operation by providing a professional webcam system that used a PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) lens to be able to see the entire room of employees, as well as zoom in on who is speaking.

The Rally conferencing system uses AI to determine who is speaking or where the focal point of the meeting should be. The system also uses an array of microphones so that none of the employees need to strain when speaking in order to be heard.

With a single USB connection, one employee laptop connects to the Rally system. They are not limited to any specific meeting platform. All platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, etc. are compatible with the system.

The budget for this project was approx. $10,000

Project Scope of Work

  • Use the existing TV and employee provided devices.

  • PTZ camera and microphone array to be installed.

  • New electrical receptacles installed for the conference room table to allow for device charging.

Materials Used

The Rally system by Logitech was chosen for this room for its ease of installation and simplicity. This project was completed in one business day and no repeat visits were required. The driver's for employee laptops were provided and cascaded to all employees that made use of the conference room.
